Our journey truly began with Caraline—the Ragdoll who quietly changed everything. Her gentle temperament, deep connection to our family, and unmistakable presence revealed what this breed was meant to be. Along the way, we learned firsthand how important ethical breeding practices truly are. Experiences that fell short of transparency and long-term support shaped our resolve to do better. From that point forward, our focus became clear: to raise Ragdoll kittens with intention, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to health, temperament, and lifelong responsibility.

Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls is a small, home-based breeding program built on integrity, transparency, and respect for the cats who make it possible. “Our focus has always been on health, temperament, and thoughtful placement—ensuring every kitten is raised with intention and matched to a family prepared for a lifelong relationship.” We believe responsible breeding means prioritizing the well-being of our cats, supporting our families long after adoption, and continuously learning in order to do what is best for the breed.
