The Story Behind Shades of Sapphire

What began with one kitten grew into a lifelong love and a promise to raise Ragdolls with honesty, health, and heart.

I never imagined I would become a Ragdoll breeder. My journey began with my very first Ragdoll, Caraline, who completely stole my heart. Her gentle personality and soulful blue eyes showed me how truly special this breed is.

Along the way, I faced disappointing experiences with other breeders — being sold cats that were not fit, and seeing contracts not honored. Those moments left a lasting impression on me, and I vowed that if I ever bred Ragdolls, I would do things differently.

Our Purpose

Today, through AAA CLASS ACT – Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls, I am committed to raising kittens with honesty, integrity, and the highest standards of care. Every kitten is raised in my home, handled daily with love, and placed only with families who are ready to provide a lifetime of care.

I want every family who adopts from me to feel secure, supported, and confident that they are receiving not just a kitten, but a promise:

  • A healthy, well-socialized kitten

  • Transparent contracts that are honored fully

  • Lifetime breeder support — because adoption doesn’t end on Gotcha Day

While I do everything possible to ensure the health of every kitten, it’s important to remember that kittens are living creatures. I cannot guarantee that a kitten will never become sick after leaving my care — but I can guarantee that each kitten leaves here with a strong, healthy start, and that I will always stand by my commitments to their families.
