At AAA CLASS ACT – Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls, we stand behind every kitten we raise. While no breeder can promise a kitten will never face illness, we provide a clear and transparent guarantee to give you peace of mind and protection for your new family member.

72-Hour Initial Guarantee

  • We require that your kitten be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery.

  • If your veterinarian discovers a life-threatening condition during this initial exam, you may return the kitten for a full refund or replacement.

  • This guarantee does not cover minor, treatable issues such as parasites, colds, or stress-related illness from transition.

3-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

  • Every Shades of Sapphire kitten is guaranteed for three years against life-threatening congenital or hereditary conditions, including:

    • Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)

    • Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)

    • Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)

  • If a kitten passes away within the guarantee period due to one of these covered conditions, a licensed veterinary necropsy is required to determine the cause of death.

  • Upon verification, families will receive a replacement kitten of equal value from the next available litter.

Special Considerations

In rare and special cases, if a family is not ready to adopt another kitten, Shades of Sapphire may, at its discretion, offer an alternative resolution.

Our Commitment

  • All breeding cats are DNA tested for HCM and PKD.

  • All cats are FeLV/FIV negative before entering our program.

  • Kittens are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian before going home.

Your Responsibility

To keep your guarantee valid, families agree to:

  • Provide appropriate veterinary care and vaccinations.

  • Keep the kitten indoor-only in a safe environment.

  • Spay/neuter compliance (if not already completed before adoption).

  • Maintain reasonable parasite control and proper nutrition.
