Year-End Update

As we approach the close of the year, our nursery remains intentionally quiet.

All kittens from our 2025 litters have been carefully matched with their forever families, and we do not have any kittens available at this time.

Our next planned litters are expected in 2026, and we are currently focused on careful planning, health, and preparation for the year ahead.

Families interested in future kittens are welcome to begin the process early by learning about our adoption journey and submitting an application when ready.

How Our Adoption Process Works

We believe thoughtful placement begins long before a kitten goes home.

  • Families begin by completing our Adoption Application

  • Approved families may receive early updates and education about upcoming litters.

  • When kittens are available, placements are guided by personality compatibility, household lifestyle, and best overall fit

  • Final details are confirmed before any reservation is requested

Why Our Kittens Aren’t First Come, First Served

At AAA Class Act – Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls, kitten placement is not based on speed, timing, or who reaches out first. While we absolutely welcome family preferences for color, gender, and personality traits, our program is built around intentional matching, not impulse selection.

Each kitten develops at their own pace, with unique temperament, energy level, and social needs. Our role as breeders is to thoughtfully guide placements by considering the kitten’s personality alongside each family’s lifestyle, experience, and expectations.

This approach allows us to:

  • Protect the long-term wellbeing of our kittens

  • Reduce mismatches and rehoming situations

  • Support families in choosing a kitten who truly fits their home

While families are encouraged to share preferences, we may recommend a kitten different from what was initially expected if we believe it offers the best chance for a successful, lifelong bond.

Our goal is not just placement — it’s the right placement.

What Approval & Early Notifications Mean

We maintain a small group of approved families who have completed the initial steps of our adoption process and are preparing for a future kitten. These families may receive early updates when litters are planned or when kittens are nearing the stage where personality traits begin to emerge.

Early notifications are designed to:

  • Share updates and education, not pressure decisions

  • Allow families time to ask questions and prepare

  • Support thoughtful conversations before any placement is discussed

Receiving an early update does not guarantee a specific kitten, nor does it create a “first pick” environment. Final placement decisions are always guided by personality compatibility, household fit, and readiness, ensuring the best outcome for both kitten and family.

Early updates are informational, not competitive. Placement discussions begin only when kittens are developmentally ready and compatibility can be assessed.

Why We Don’t List Kittens Like Classified Ads

You won’t find our kittens listed with prices, countdown timers, or “first deposit wins” language. We intentionally avoid a classified-style approach because it does not reflect the care, planning, and responsibility that go into raising each kitten.

Our focus remains on transparency, education, and building relationships — not transactions.
