How the Priority Notification List Works
Why Join?
• Families on the Priority Notification List are notified before kittens are publicly announced when reservations are opening.
• This notification allows time to review upcoming availability, ask questions, and submit or update an adoption application.
• Placement is never based on order alone. All kittens are matched thoughtfully using our personality-first placement process to ensure the best fit for both kitten and family.
Why Personality Matters
Every Ragdoll kitten has a unique temperament, and the happiest placements happen when personality and home environment truly align.
For example, a quieter or more bashful kitten may not thrive in a very busy or highly active household, while a confident, people-oriented kitten may struggle in a home where owners are frequently away. Our personality-first approach helps ensure each kitten is placed in a home where they feel secure, confident, and deeply bonded.
This is why placement is never based on speed, order, or first pick alone.

Important Notes
Joining the Priority Notification List does not replace the adoption application or approval process. All families must be approved before receiving an invitation to reserve a kitten.
The Priority Notification List does not guarantee a specific kitten or placement; it provides advance notice and early access to the reservation window.
The $50 fee is non-refundable, but it goes directly toward your deposit.
Deposits are $250 total (minus the $50 if you are on the Priority List).
Families have 72 hours to choose once notified before kittens are posted publicly.
