🐾 Health Guarantee

The health and wellbeing of our kittens is a responsibility we take seriously. Our health guarantee reflects the care, testing, and standards behind our breeding program, as well as our commitment to transparency and support for the families who adopt from us.

Veterinary Care & Early Health

Every kitten is raised with close attention to health, development, and early veterinary care.

Before going home, each kitten receives:

  • Multiple veterinary examinations

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations

  • Spay or neuter completed prior to placement

  • Microchip for permanent identification

Complete veterinary records are provided to each adopting family.

Genetic Health Commitment

We are committed to responsible breeding practices that prioritize long-term health.

  • All breeding cats are DNA tested for known genetic conditions, including HCM and PKD

  • Breeding cats are screened and maintained under veterinary guidance

  • Pairings are selected carefully to reduce the risk of hereditary disease

While no breeder can guarantee the absence of all health conditions, we take every reasonable step to minimize risk through testing, planning, and ongoing evaluation.

Health Guarantee Coverage

Our health guarantee is designed to provide reassurance while maintaining clarity and fairness.

  • 72-hour initial health guarantee following pickup or delivery

    • A licensed veterinary exam is required within this time frame

  • Three-year genetic health guarantee covering serious hereditary conditions

Full terms and conditions are outlined in the written adoption contract provided prior to placement.

FIP Considerations

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a complex condition influenced by multiple factors, including stress and immune response.

Our program includes:

  • Careful attention to early nutrition and gut health

  • Stress-reduction practices during growth and transition

  • Education and support for families during the adjustment period

In the rare event of loss related to FIP, a licensed veterinary necropsy is required to determine cause, as outlined in the contract.

Continuing Care & Insurance

Each kitten goes home with 30 days of complimentary pet insurance to support families during the transition period.

We strongly encourage families to maintain ongoing pet insurance, especially during the first year, as kittens continue to grow and develop.

What This Guarantee Represents

Our health guarantee is not a replacement for veterinary care, but a reflection of the standards we uphold and the confidence we have in our program.

We believe transparency, education, and open communication are essential to responsible breeding and lifelong success.

A Partnership Built on Care

Adoption is the beginning of a relationship. We remain available to our families for questions, guidance, and support as their kitten grows.

Our goal is not simply to place kittens, but to support healthy, happy lives for years to come.
