Our Adoption Promise

At AAA CLASS ACT – Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls in Ohio, our adoption promise reflects our commitment to ethical Ragdoll breeding, exceptional kitten health, and lifelong support for every family we serve.

At AAA CLASS ACT – Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls, we believe adoption should be built on honesty, transparency, and heart. Every kitten we raise is part of our family before they become part of yours, and we are committed to making the adoption process clear, fair, and full of support.

When you adopt from us, you receive not just a beautiful Ragdoll kitten, but the peace of mind that your adoption is backed by a registered LLC, written contracts, and a promise of lifetime breeder support.

2026 Pricing

Because AAA CLASS ACT – Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls is a registered LLC, we are required by law to collect applicable sales tax. We operate our cattery with full transparency and professionalism, ensuring every adoption is supported by written contracts, documented health guarantees, and ethical breeding practices designed to protect both our kittens and their families.

• Each kitten is $2,500 plus applicable Ohio sales tax

• Families adopting two or more kittens, as well as returning families, receive a $250 discount

Reservation Process

  • At approximately 8 weeks of age, we can confirm each kitten’s color, pattern, gender, and emerging personality.

  • At this stage, we begin accepting $250 reservation deposits to hold a kitten.

Reservation deposits are non-refundable, as they secure a specific kitten and remove them from availability. The deposit is applied toward the total adoption fee once placement is confirmed.

  • Reservations are honored in the order they are placed within each access window.

Priority Notification List

  • Approved families may choose to join our Priority Notification List for $50 (non-refundable).

    • This fee is applied toward the total adoption fee of $2,500 if you proceed with an adoption.

    • Priority list members receive advance notification and early access to reservation openings before kittens are released to the public.

    Important Notes:

    • The Priority Notification List fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee a kitten.

    • Joining the Priority Notification List is optional.

    • Families who do not join may still place a reservation once kittens are released publicly.

Go-Home Age

Kittens are ready to go home around 14–16 weeks of age, once they are fully recovered from spay/neuter surgery and completed all age appropriate veterinary care.

Veterinary Care & Testing

Every kitten receives:

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations (including FeLV)

  • Multiple veterinary exams with records provided

  • Spay/neuter surgery before going home

  • Microchip for permanent identification

  • Parents tested negative for FeLV/FIV, DNA tested for HCM & PKD

  • Littermate testing for FeLV/FIV and fecal parasites (giardia, coccidia, worms)

We use littermate testing because all kittens share the same environment. This avoids unnecessary stress on each kitten while ensuring the group’s health.

Health Guarantee

  • 72-Hour Initial Guarantee: Please have your kitten scheduled and examined by a vet within 72 hours of pickup.

  • 3-Year Genetic Health Guarantee: Covers life-threatening hereditary conditions, including HCM, PKD, and FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

If a kitten passes away, a licensed veterinary necropsy is required to determine cause of death

Insurance

  • Each adoption includes 30 days of complimentary pet insurance.

  • We highly recommend continuing coverage during the first year while your kitten’s immune system and gut health are still developing.

Responsible Breeding Practices

The health and happiness of our Queens always come first. Each Queen has a carefully limited number of litters in her lifetime, and her physical and emotional well-being is closely monitored at every stage.

At times, a queen may have two litters within a year. While some may view this as frequent, this approach is often recommended by veterinarians to help reduce the stress associated with prolonged or repeated heat cycles. Our breeding decisions are made thoughtfully, with her comfort and long-term health as the priority.

After each litter, our Queens are given ample time to rest, recover, and regain optimal condition before being bred again. Our goal is to ensure every Queen lives a happy, balanced life as a cherished member of our family priority is always their health, ensuring they live a happy and balanced life as cherished members of our family - not just a breeding cat.
