About the Ragdoll & Cherubim Breeds

At AAA CLASS ACT – Shades of Sapphire Ragdolls, our passion is raising two of the most loving, family-friendly cats in the world: the Ragdoll and the Cherubim (RagaMuffin).

Both breeds share the same gentle, affectionate nature that makes them incredible companions. The differences are in their appearance and recognition — but in personality, they’re equally sweet, loyal, and playful.

💙 The Ragdoll – The Puppy-Like Cat

  • Personality: Calm, floppy, and affectionate — many go completely limp in your arms. They love following their people and being part of daily family life.

  • Appearance: Always striking blue eyes, with a silky, semi-long coat. Recognized in traditional patterns: Colorpoint, Mitted, and Bicolor, along with Lynx, Tortie, Flame, Cream, Chocolate, and Lilac.

  • Why Families Love Them: Ragdolls are gentle, easygoing, and loyal — perfect for children, other pets, or anyone who wants a devoted companion.

🌸 The Cherubim – The Teddy Bear Cat

  • Personality: Equally gentle and affectionate, but often a bit more playful. Known for their cuddly, teddy-bear temperament.

  • Appearance: Plush, soft coats with a wider variety of looks. Unlike Ragdolls, Cherubim can have any eye color (blue, green, gold, or odd-eyed). They also come in traditional patterns plus mink, sepia, and solid colors.

  • Why Families Love Them: Families adore their variety of colors and eye shades, combined with the same sweet, people-oriented personality as the Ragdoll.
